Caesar Creek

Caesar Creek State Park - Beach

Caesar Creek State Park is one of the most beautiful locations I have ever been to. From fields that glow golden in the evening, and a lake that glistens from the sunlight, Caesar Creek is a no-brainer if you are looking for a place that is rooted in nature around every corner.

Important Aspects of Location: Flower + grass fields, ponds, bridges, paths, and that gorgeous lake with a beach.

Glenwood Gardens

GLENWOOD GARDENS

Glenwood Gardens ties together a beautiful mix of romantic architecture, bright florals, and stunning views. It is a perfect pick if you want a balance between having structures & nature present in your photos. There is no better word to describe this location than charming!

Important Aspects of Location: Gazebo, flowers, fields, vast & beautiful views.

Ault Park

ault Park

Ault Park is a favorite location for senior portraits, with a diverse setting intertwining it's beautiful fountain & architecture, as well the abundance of florals scattered throughout the park. Close to home for those in the Cincinnati area, Ault Park is a beauty that should not be missed out on!

Important Aspects of Location: Fountain surrounded by stairs that lead up to a beautiful event space, large gardens, diverse flowers, beautiful paths.

French Park

french park

French Park was the Class of 2026's favorite spot! And for good reason. The park features a beautiful brick building, surrounded by a mix of open areas, and grassy fields (which are green in the summer with many yellow flowers, and golden in the fall!). If you're looking for florals, the house has a diverse array of beautifully planted flowers in every color imaginable. If the brick building isn't up your alley, no worries! At the entrance of the park is a gorgeous creek that ties together the perfect nature feel when mixed with the fields. This has become one of my favorite locations!

Important Aspects of Location: Beautiful brick building, flower + grass fields, pine trees, gorgeous creek, lots of natural light.

The Cincinnati Nature Center

rowe woods location

The Cincinnati Nature Center is an absolute gem! Its beautiful estate house is one of my favorite parts, and ties together perfectly with the stone architecture and grassy areas surrounding it. The location also features a gorgeous field with bridges and walkways that overlook a small pond and a cottage. If you're looking for a setting with a lot of nature (but that also intertwines a bit of beautiful architecture) this is the spot for you!

Important Aspects of Location: Groesbeck estate house, fields, stone architecture, ponds, bridges, walkways

Sharon Woods

sharon woods park

Sharon Woods is absolutely beautiful in the summer, but it is the location for the perfect fall session. The majority of trees turn a beautiful golden yellow color, fully embracing those fall tones. The park has a gorgeous creek that receives a lot of natural light, and perfectly incorporates the fall scenery. There are a number of gorgeous paths, a small open field area with a barn backdrop, beautiful stone bridges. If you're looking for a rustic, nature filled setting, this is the place!

Important Aspects of Location: Gorgeous creeks, beautiful fall foliage, rustic barn, stone bridges.

When choosing your location, date, and time, there are a couple things to consider!

Locations are going to look different based on the season!

  • If you are looking for more floral, bright, and lively pictures, the best time of year is May-August.
  • If you want more earthy, golden, or muted tones, October brings the fall colors!
  • The very end of March into April is also a beautiful time if you're interested in more colorful pictures, as that's when many trees start to bloom with flowers.
The time of day (one of the most important parts!)

  • The time of day in which your session occurs can shape your photos in a many different ways!
  • Golden hour is typically the best time to take photos, so I highly recommend booking your session an hour+ before the sun is supposed to set in your area.
  • Of course, if you are unable to book during golden hour, there's nothing to worry about! Just try to find a time that is close to it!
